2017 Chocolate Milk Facilitator Certification Training

Fall/Winter 2017 TBA

Coming July 1-3, 2016 Chocolate Milk Facilitator Training for those wanting to start a Chocolate Milk Cafe. Remember Chocolate Milk Cafe Facilitators can use their hours toward the IBCLC credential. Chocolate Milk Cafes also have the use of our 501C3 so that they may be self sustaining by doing their own fundraising.

This course is filling up fast and we will not do another one until 2017 so please contact us if you are interested. We are suggesting that groups start a Go Fund Me to raise the money for training and travel fees so that your Chococlate Milk Cafe is independently run.

Prerequisites for the training and certfication:
-must have at least two facilitators to take the training
-must have a secured location for meetings
– must have a CLC or IBCLC who will attend meetings (must be POC) or take referrals free of charge
– must agree that meetings will be a sacred space for African and African-American families (fathers may attend)

The cost for training is $1200 for two facilitators. We will have limited space in our guest house for those coming from out of town. We ask for a contribution to stay in the guest house. Meals during the three day training are potluck. We ask everyone to contribute to meals
